Still 06.09.24 — Of course the one time I want to edit my site, neocities is glitching. *sigh*

06.09.24 — I haven’t worked on my site in almost a month and I don’t like that. Yes it’s ‘only’ a hobby, but that’s not the reason for my inactivity. I had enough time to work on it – though work is probably the wrong word. Tinker. Still, I didn’t. Why? Perfectionism, probably. Which is the complete opposite of what I want from this project. I want to use this website to do small things often, small improvements, little updates, tiny bits of writing.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, the making of tiny things. Be it making microfilms that are under a minute long (see Hunter Creates Things on Youtube), keeping an illustrated journal (Sketchbook Skool on Youtube) or writing a tiny book (Fabio Cerpelloni on Youtube; yes, I watch a lot of Youtube, sue me). There’s something incredibly satisfying and magical in finishing many small project and while this website will probably never be Finished, an update or small addition can be. That’s what I want.
